Ground-breaking design improvements unique in magnitude, synergies and lack of compromise
LAM Aero Technology (LAT) opens new pathways to remarkably enhanced safety and performance. LAT is based on the LAM Aileron, a patented combination of aerodynamic flight control surfaces driven mechanically and electro-mechanically for improved aircraft performance, handling, and control. This is fundamentally expressed as increased lift, CLmax, and improved lateral or roll control particularly at low speeds and high angles of attack. It also addresses stalling behavior, incipient spinning and spinning behavior. The system is well suited to envelope protection with the addition of state information from angle of attack and other measuring devices.
The sum of these features results in a greatly improved aircraft that is not susceptible to loss of control incidents during low-speed flight as found during approach to landing.
